Zucchini Noodles

I used to love spaghetti and pasta of any type. The smell of it still makes me quiver.
One substitution that we have made is zucchini noodles.
The Veggetti-Pro was an amazing investment if not only to make these.
I made these several ways, and I will explain the best way I have found so far.

Step one: Get some friggen delicious zucchini and wash those mofo's off. Cut off the ends and the cut the zucchini in half. Put them on the Veggetti-Pro and spin the crap out of them!

Make all the Noodles!

Hehehe. zucchini dong, (I am a high schooler at heart.)

I place the noodles into a salad spinner for easy drainage. Add a lot of salt to these. Let them sit for a little while (10 minutes?)
SIMPLE SCIENCE!:
When salt is placed on stuff that has water in it, it is drawn out! Osmosis!! oh snap!

Squeeze the noodles to get any excess water out (you want noodles, not zucchini)
Then spin that salad spinner for a while. Lots of water will come out. Some people will rinse them to get the salt off, but remember that your electrolytes are SUPER important! If you DO rinse them, spin them again!

I got a half cup of the water out of this batch, though I didn't squeeze them as much as normal.
Now to cook these:
You can really do what ever you want. This time I put them in an aluminum foil tent with butter, salt (yes more), garlic powder, and black pepper. Then I threw it on the grill with some burgers.

You can also cook these on a pan with some butter, a protein, and some Alfredo sauce!
Enjoy!
