My Morning Cup of Heaven

So maybe you have heard people talk about "Bullet Proof Coffee" before and thought to yourself that the idea of butter in your morning mug is just plain gross.

You obviously never tried this delightful mana from the the gods.

My morning coffee consists of five following items:

  • 1 tablespoon of grass fed butter

  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil

  • A splash to a cup of unsweetened almond milk

  • A single packet of truvia (steer clear of this for a while, fake sugar makes you want sweets)

  • 2 cups of cheap Folgers coffee

We get these blocks for 0.99¢ at Pricerite in New Bedford. We also buy in bulk when possible and freeze them. Below is a frozen block of butter. Mmmmmm. Butter.

Anywhere else they seem to run about $2.99 a block.

We use whichever coconut oil is on sale. Some people use unrefined special expensive stuff. We are not about that life.

Once the coffee has been poured, blend that shit up!

Look at that goodness right there.

I bought a hand frother because people on the internet said it worked great. That was a $6 waste of hard earned bacon cash!

Trust me. Use a blender or a nutribullet. Otherwise it is an oil slick.

This tends to keep me full from 7am-11am. Not that bad for one "meal"

Some people will try to sell you "Special" microbe free coffee for like $26 a pound. I mean, feel free to spend your bacon cash on that, but again, here at this house we do keto on the cheap.
